Virtual summer day camps run for one week (Monday-Friday), for 3.5 hours per day and are all lead by Brooke Alexander (owner/creator and local artist). Plenty of time for fun and of course, beautiful artwork. As long as it is safe to do so, In person day camp will also be available!
From home, children (age 6+) will learn how to capture their best artwork, meet others who also love art, share, ask questions and laugh. Don't worry, supplies are simple and you probably already have them in the house (see supply list below). Please feel free to ask Brooke for recommendations regarding supplies.
Each day will include a new theme, which the artwork will compliment (ex. Wildlife). Using Zoom, Brooke will lead the children toward their own version of the artwork at hand, guiding them with simple steps, while providing one on one direction.
FUN BREAK: Brooke and the children will have time for a break each day. They will play games, share, have question time, and will have a movement break. A movement break will be very rejuvenating and good for everyone's physical health, while a break from the artwork will make everyone want to do more.
